Real Madrid are set to be the big winners at FIFA’s The Best awards for 2017 with Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane among the favourites.
The Portuguese superstar is set to defend his title as Best Player while Zidane is set to be named Best Coach after leading Los Blancos to a La Liga and Champions League ‘double’.
Reports in Spain also suggest Madrid will have five representatives in the FIFPro XI with Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Cristiano all tipped to be selected.
Ronaldo won the first ever edition of The Best last year after seeing off Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann, and once more is expected to see off challenges from the Argentine and former Barca star Neymar.
Zidane is set to face competition for his prize from Chelsea Coach Antonio Conte, who won the English Premier League title in his first season at Stamford Bridge.
