Spanish Under-17 striker Ferran Torres has played down rumors of a move to La Liga powerhouse clubs Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Torres has become a vital cog in the wheel of the Spanish Under-17 World Cup side in the U17 FIFA World Cup in India, having scored twice and assisting thrice throughout the tournament and helping the side beat Mali to reach the final of the competition.
Following the 3-1 win over the Mali side, Torres was asked about his future and he addressed rumors linking him to Real Madrid and Barcelona. He said: “Currently, my head is focused only on the final with England and I do not want to hear about offers. When I return to Spain, we will evaluate it.”
The right-winger, who currently plies his trade with Valencia B, reportedly has a release clause that will apply from the 1st of January and is said to lie in the region of 25 million euros.
