Jose Mourinho ponders Bale swap deal, midfield target linked with January exit

José Mourinho is looking to strengthen is Manchester United squad in the January window as the Special One has been waiting for one more new signing to add to his Man Utd squad since last summer.

According to a report of Don Balon, one of the Red Devils’ top target Arturo Vidal may be leaving Bayern Munich in January following a brawl he was involved into last week.
The Chile International did not agree with the club’s decision to sack Carlo Ancelotti and is reportedly not on good terms with new Bavarians’ boss Jupp Heynckes. According to the Spanish news outlet, the German tactician wants Vidal out of the Allianz Arena as soon as in January.

This past summer Manchester United, Inter and Chelsea had been linked with a move for the former Juve star and the Red Devils could make an attempt to sign the Chilean if Bayern Munich will really decide to sell him.

Meantime, Mourinho is also thinking about possible summer reinforcements and a big name could arrive at the Old Trafford from Madrid.

Don Balon, in fact, also reports the Red Devils have set their sights on Gareth Bale who is likely to leave the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.

The Welshman is being struggling with injuries over the last few seasons and a return to the Premier League is on the cards.

According to Don Balon, Mourinho would be open to table a player-swap deal involving Marcus Rashford who is regarded as one the most interesting raising star in England although Mourinho reportedly wants a big name to move to the Old Trafford and would be ready to sacrifice the Englishman in exchange for the ex-most expensive player on the planet.
