Inter chase PSG player, former Serie A star

Inter are set to chase PSG outcast Javier Pastore in order to boost their midfield.

The former Palermo man has been limited to just over 30 Ligue 1 starts over the last three seasons by injuries, and the arrivals of Kylian M’Bappe, Neymar and Julian Draxler haven’t helped, either.

Though he has scored twice this season, he’s been reduced to a bit-part role, and a number of Italian teams have expressed an interest over the last few months.

According to Tuttosport, Inter want the Argentine as part of a three-man swoop to add depth to their squad. Despite not losing in the first nine games and making second place, the lack of alternatives could penalize the Interisti down the road.

The idea is that Pastore is a player who is easily reachable, though reports indicate that PSG would want Joao Mario in return.

The Portuguese international is willing to move to Paris.
