Chelsea are reportedly still said to be after Juventus full-back Alex Sandro, a target they pursued this past summer as well.
The Brazilian defender was very close to joining the Stamford Bridge based club this past summer but a move never materialised. Reports did suggest that he would sign a new deal that would have kept him at the club till 2022, but the full-back’s future is still in the balance.
And reports suggest that Chelsea haven’t lost the chase for the Juve star, who hasn’t quite enjoyed the start to the new campaign so far. They are willing to offer the Old Lady a fee in the region of 60 million euros to acquire Alex Sandro’s signature.
Juve though, are unwilling to allow the defender leave in January and will not budge from their position, despite the big fee that the Blues are offering.
Alex Sandro, currently 26, has made seven starts for the bianconeri this season, scoring once and assisting thrice.
