Eden Hazard has named Kevin De Bruyne as the best player in the Premier League at the minute, and lavished praise on the creative star, along with Manchester City.
He made it clear that he thinks that City are the best team in terms of their ability on the field and also when it comes to watching them, and that he thinks De Bruyne is a top quality player – who he of course has the pleasure of working with for Belgium at international level.
Speaking ahead of Belgium’s game, the Mirror report he said: “Kevin is definitely the best player in the Premier League at the moment.
“City are the best Premier League team and Kevin is an important player in Guardiola’s system. It’s easy to play with Kevin because we’re good players.”
He also spoke about his own form and chances with the national team saying: “Will I play both games? It would be silly to play 90 minutes twice but I still want to play.
Personally I feel good. There is no apprehension related to my return from injury.
“I am already at top [shape] but I still hope to improve.”
De Bruyne of course knows Hazard well, and could have even been playing with him at Chelsea currently, had the Blues not sold him, in a decision they now clearly regret.
Not only that, but Hazard has been linked heavily with Real Madrid since arriving in England, and does not seem to want to rule out rumours of a possible move.
As Manchester United know, along with Tottenham Hotspur, it is very hard to resist Real Madrid when they come calling, and players don’t often turn down the chance to move to the Bernabeu – and Chelsea will know they have a fight on their hands to keep Hazard at the club.
