Fans of the La Liga giants have been growing restless as the club has not made a ‘Galactico’ signing since bringing in Gareth Bale four years ago.

And according to Marca, Real have been alerted by the news that Neymar is unhappy at PSG, despite only arriving from Barcelona in August.

The Brazilian became the most expensive player in history when Unai Emery parted with £198m to join the Ligue 1 side.

Neymar famously fell out with team-mate Edinson Cavani over a penalty earlier in the season but has denied rumours of a rift with his coach.

Zinedine Zidane is not planning on signing anybody in the January transfer window but is prepared to bring in a headline name next year, having missed out on Kylian Mbappe to PSG.

The club has made it clear that while they want to sign a big name, it must be somebody with high potential and profitability, which Neymar certainly has.

Former team-mates Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez have warned him against a move to the Bernabeu, amid fears that he would be viewed as a traitor by the Catalan fans.
