Mou is frustrated at Man United for not signing this star

Jose Mourinho doesn’t look to have taken Manchester United’s failure to sign Ivan Perisic well.

According to ESPN, Mourinho is irritated that the Red Devils were unable to sign the Croatian star, who scored eleven Serie A goals with Inter last season, and has already added four in twelve appearances this time round.

The Special One had already hinted at this when he said late in the summer that he “wanted four players, but got three”. Recent reports indicated, in fact, that Mourinho’s positive comments about PSG ( “at the moment in Paris there is something special. Magic, quality, youth, it’s fantastic.”) were motivated by frustration at Ed Woodward.

The Special One has led Manchester United to second place (joint with Tottenham) in Premier League action, but believes that the likes of Mkhitaryan, Rashford, Lingard and Martial are missing something.

One can understand, however, why United have stuck by their guns: Rashford has been very strong this season, while Mkhitaryan has shown before that he can boss the Red Devils’ midfield.

Even Martial, who looked to be in the Special One’s bad books, has found a way to be decisive of late.
