Sweden coach Janne Andersson has ignored questions about Zlatan Ibrahimovic for his possible return to national team after qualifying at the World Cup.
Sweden eliminated Italy to secure participation in the biggest football event with a total score of 1-0 in two “play-off” games.
Meanwhile, Manchester United striker retired from the Swedish national team after the 2016 European Championship, but rumors are now circulating that Ibra may return to the national team to play in the World Cup in Russia next summer.
“This is extraordinary! This player [Ibrahimovic] does not play with us for a year and a half and we still talk about him, “Andersson told AFP after the match with Italy.
“We have to talk about the great players we have in the team. We have heroes tonight. I’m a bit touched but naturally very happy with the result, “he added.
