Valverde says La Liga is too long regardless of what will happen tomorrow.
Barcelona is currently eight points ahead of Real Madrid and the difference can become bigger on Saturday after the match Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid, a team that has always caused problems to the city rival.
Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde was asked by journalists at the press conference what result he prefers tomorrow. The Spaniard did not want to get involved in these things now, saying; “No matter what happens tomorrow, La Liga is long way.”
“What result you prefer from the derby? I have no doubt that a very important derby will be played, but what matters to us is our match, “Barcelona coach said.
“After this round, there will be another 26 games, so the distance will not be crucial no matter what will happen tomorrow ,” Valverde said.
Barcelona will face Leganes on the 12th round of La Liga, a challenge that takes place at 16:15.
