German midfielder Mesut Ozil will leave Arsenal during the January transfer window
Arsenal leaders are ready to sell Mesut Ozil in January, as his contract expires next summer and the player does not want to extend the contract.
The most interested team for his services is Barcelona, which is ready to pay the 20m euros required by Arsenal.
But they have come up with another problem, not with Arsenal, but with Ozil.
According to the Spanish daily, AS, Ozil has asked Barcelona for a salary of 19 million euros, becoming the most paid player after Leo Messi.
It remains to be seen whether Barcelona will meet Ozil’s demand or look for other alternatives.
Ozil in the past has played in La Liga when he was part of Real Madrid from 2010-2013
