Video: Famous British referee stops the match to respect adhan

Former English Premier Leader referee Mark Clattenburg has stopped a Saudi Arabian Cup match to respect the Muslim call to pray.

This action has made him enjoy great respect by football fans in this Muslim country.

Clattenburg was running a match between Al Feiha vs Al-Fateh on Saudi Arabia on Wednesday when the call of the adhan started and was heard around the King Salman Stadium.

The sixth minute of extra time was taking place when the English referee stopped the game.

After restarting the match, Al Feiha scored the second goal in the 118th minute and qualified.
