The Tottenham forward is once again enjoying a stellar season in front of goal which has done nothing to dispel the rumours he may be on his way to the Spanish capital.
While Kane is scoring with ease for Spurs, Madrid’s attackers have been enduring a tough campaign.
Cristiano Ronaldo and co. have only recently improved their form after a tricky start to the season.
Main striker Karim Benzema has only netted four times in the league this season.
But according to reports in Spain, Ronaldo has told Madrid he doesn’t want the Frenchman to be sold which could now put Kane’s potential switch in doubt.

Spanish outlet Don Balon claim the Portuguese star does not want Florentino Perez to actively look for a new striker in the summer.
Ronaldo showed just how much he respects Benzema during Los Blancos’ 4-0 win over Alaves on Saturday.
The former Manchester United hitman already had two goals to his name when Gareth Bale was fouled in the area in second half stoppage time.
Everyone inside the Bernabeu expected Ronaldo to step up to score his 50th career hat-trick.

But the forward decided to allow Benzema to convert the spot-kick in the hope it will boost his confidence going into the business end of the campaign.

As for Kane, he helped Spurs beat Crystal Palace with a late header at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
The England international is well on his way to beating Alan Shearer’s Premier League record if he remains in the division.
