Samuel Umtit reached a verbal agreement to renew his contract

•Barcelona have reached a verbal agreement with Samuel Umtiti over a new deal.
• However, the Catalans still have to delay the completion until the next financial year.

• The French defender still has a €60m buy-out clause and will continue to until the deal is signed on July 1.

• Man United’s Jose Mourinho may still be interested in acquiring Umtiti. The Portuguese has recently reiterated he won’t need attacking players as defence and midfield are crying for an upgrade.
