MANCHESTER UNITED have been warned they face a serious test to keep star goalkeeper David De Gea this summer.

Former Newcastle stopper Shay Given thinks Red Devils fans should be seriously concerned that Real Madrid are intent on signing the Spaniard.
Los Blancos’ current gloveman Keylor Navas has been solid, but Real’s hierarchy are making plans to replace him with De Gea.
The former Atletico Madrid man added another stunning save his extensive portfolio during Man Utd’s stunning comeback win over bitter rivals Manchester City.
And Given, who made over 450 Premier League appearances, is concerned De Gea could be tempted to switch Old Trafford for the Bernabeu.
“Manchester United fans will be worried if Madrid come in over the summer and try to snatch him away with the saves he keeps making,” he told talkSPORT.
“That one yesterday from the Aguero header was another phenomenal save.”

De Gea almost joined Real in the summer of 2015, only for a faulty fax machine to scupper the transfer at the last minute.
He has kept 20 clean sheets in 39 games for Jose Mourinho’s side so far this term.
