The Hazard to Madrid rumours have resurfaced.

According to the Daily Mail, the La Liga giants will move for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard if they manage to sell Gareth Bale in the forthcoming summer transfer window.

For some reason, our Belgian playmaker is linked with a transfer to Real Madrid on a yearly basis, and the rumours have been particularly prominent this term.

The 27-year-old has scored 16 goals in 45 games for the Blues this season, and he is three goals adrift from equalling his best goal-scoring season for the club since joining from Lille at the start of the 2012/13 campaign. He is valued at £90M by transfermarkt.

He is widely considered as our most talented player, and although it looks likely that the Blues will be absent from the Champions League next season, it’s of the utmost importance that the club retains the services of Eden Hazard.
