Carvajal: This three players are the hardest to stop

Real Madrid are set to face Bayern Munich in a highly-anticipated semi-final tie and Dani Carvajal has predicted it’ll be a tough match against Robert Lewandowski and co.

The 26-year-old right-back, who dreams of his third consecutive Champions League, has warned of the danger the German team possess.

“[Arjen] Robben, Lewandowski and [Frank] Ribery are the most difficult to stop,” Carvajal admitted in an interview at a private event with Codere.

“They are three very difficult players to mark and with any room they can score.”

If Real Madrid manage to beat the German giants and win the final they will clinch their third consecutive Champions League title, a feat Carvajal is hoping to achieve.

“Nothing is impossible, we are going to fight for it,” the footballer added.

“We are working and if we have achieved two then why will we not go for the third consecutive one?

“I hope we achieve the Champions League, we must keep ourselves grounded and face the semi-finals with great enthusiasm.”

The first leg takes place at the Allianz Arena at 20:45 CET on Wednesday.
