REAL MADRID boss Zinedine Zidane says he will not rest players ahead of the Champions League final against Liverpool.

Los Blancos still have four La Liga games to play before the showdown in Kiev on May 26.

The first of which is an El Clasico grudge match against Barcelona at the Nou Camp today (7.45pm).

Real are aiming for an unprecedented third successive triumph in the Champions League era when they face Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Liverpool are aiming to be crowned kings of Europe for a sixth time, and are slight underdogs to do so.

The Reds are battling Tottenham for third place and are also trying to help talisman Mohamed Salah secure the Premier League Golden Boot.

Despite Zidane’s side having little to play for in their remaining fixtures, Zidane claims he won’t look to drop players for the sake of it.

“No, not at all,” said the Real Madrid boss on Saturday, previewing the trip to Camp Nou. “I’m not going to think about that.

“If that were the case, there’d be no point playing tomorrow or in the our four or five remaining games.

“If a player isn’t at 100 per cent, though, he won’t play. But as for the rest, they’ll play as always.”

On the possibility of his players looking to avoid injury ahead of the Liverpool clash, Zidane added: “We can’t think about that.

“We have to focus on the game and on playing with intensity.

“It’s true that this year, because the title is already decided, there is less expectation, but that’s normal.

“Before the match it’s like that, but when the game starts I don’t think that’ll be the case.”

Nevertheless, Real are likely to make changes with Isco and Raphael Varane thought to be carrying knocks.
