• Juve reject claims that Alvaro Morata could be transferred back
• The club’s chief doesn’t see any move could happen as his price is unlikely to be affordable for the Italian giants
Juve’s transfer chief Giuseppe Marotta: “Everyone shows a great affection for this club.
“I do not deny that Morata expressed his appreciation for Juventus, but there are very few possibilities because the price from Chelsea is very expensive.”
Alvaro Morata’s season was marred with injuries. He has struggled to prove so far his skyhigh price tag. Morata has been under the cosh in England despite a lively start to the campaign in which he has scored 11 Premier League goals, but in 2018 he’s only contributed 2 of the overall haul. It seems Giroud became Conte’s first choice ahead of the Spaniard.
Morata, the product of Real Mardid academy, enjoyed quite a successful spell at Juve between 2014 and 2016. He became the champion of the Seria A for 3 consecutive campaigns and reached the final of the Champions League in 2015.
