PSG will not accept £876m for Mbappe

Even if PSG receive a bid of €1bn (£876m) for Kylian Mbappé’s services this summer, they would not consider selling the 19-year-old – according to club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

Mbappé, who joined PSG from Monaco last August on an initial season-long loan deal, is set to complete a £118m permanent move this summer.

Premier League champions Manchester City and Champions League holders Real Madrid have both been heavily linked with the Frenchman’s signature in recent months and are said to be monitoring his situation closely, as UEFA revealed they were investigating PSG’s spending over the last 12 months.

However, despite Mbappé himself revealing he was unsure what the future held at club level, Al-Khelaifi has made an attempt to reassure supporters by telling Canal+ the following:

“You want me to give you a number [for Mbappé]? More than €1bn! Yes, I said one billion! Even if you gave me a billion, I wouldn’t sell him.”
