Bayern Munich legend Lothar Matthaus has criticized Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara for the form and performance this year. He believes the Bavarian club must sell it they receive a good offer.
Bayern lost 3-1 in the German Cup final against Eintracht Frankfurt during the match Thiago was angry because he was replaced.
“Thiago has failed to make the difference in big matches,” Matthaus told Sport Bild.
“In fact, I think he is good, but lately has been the shadow of the player he once was. Thiago has disappointed me in the last few weeks. I do not know where his mind is. With these appearances, he is not a player for Bayern Munchen, “he stressed.
“If any valuable offer comes, then Bayern must think about it,” he added.
