Lichtsteiner wated by big Premier League team

Arsenal are hoping to sign Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner on a free transfer, according to The Guardian.

Lichtsteiner is leaving Juventus when his contract expires and the 34-year-old has already confirmed he will not be joining Borussia Dortmund following rumours of a move to the Bundesliga.

However, Arsenal have opened talks for the Switzerland international and he could become one of the first additions to new boss Unai Emery’s squad at Emirates Stadium.
