Jurgen Klopp wants Real Madrid and James Rodriguez

Real Madrid are considering a sensational move to make Jurgen Klopp their next manager.

The move would send shock waves around football, and certainly ruin any plans Liverpool have for the summer and start of the season.

It’s clear at this point any move would be a wildcard for both manager and club, with Klopp already bringing in targets at Liverpool and building for next season.

However, Don Balon report Klopp would be open to taking the job – and if he did, the manager would want to bring James Rodriguez back to the club.

At this moment in time, James knows his future is as up in the air as anyone, with the fact that Zidane has left the club possibly opening up the door for his return.

The player spoke about seeing his current side, Bayern Munich, knocked out of Europe by Real Madrid, and noted it was hard, but that’s just life as a footballer.

The Express report he said: “I think until next season everyone will get over [the loss to Real] in their own way.

“I don’t think it was fair.

“We did well to get through [to the semi-finals] but this is how football can be sometimes.”

James himself is thought to be happy in Germany, but with Zidane leaving and Niko Kovac arriving at Bayern, it could well be the case he feels it’s time to cut his loan spell with the club short.
