
Barcelona are remaining tight-lipped on their transfer pursuit of Antoine Griezmann after the Atletico Madrid star confirmed there would be an announcement next week on his future.
Griezmann revealed on Friday night fans would know by the end of next week if he would joining a new club.
The France international has been linked with a host of big clubs including the La Liga champions and Manchester United.
Atletico do not want to sell their talisman, but are reportedly open to offers if Griezmann has his heart set on leaving the club.
Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu spoke out on the club’s transfer pl ans, but refused to name names after Griezmann’s most recent admission.
‘Some players will come. Others will leave. That’s normal,’ Bartomeu said.
‘But no doubt, without saying names, I cannot say names, because probably a lot of them are under negotiation by the people of the club. Of course, so many players will appear.’
Barcelona are rumoured to be on the hunt for a statement buy this summer after another disappointing showing in the Champions League.
The club spent big on Philippe Coutinho in January, but the midfielder was unable to play any part in their European campaign after representing Liverpool earlier in the season.

Griezmann would be an exciting addition to the squad after four brilliant season in Madrid.
The 27-year-old has bagged 112 goals and 40 assists in 209 appearances for Atletico, with 29 of those strikes coming last season.
Griezmann will command a monster transfer fee as one of the best players in the world.
