Confirmed: Cristiano Ronaldo will join Juventus

Moggi informs that Ronaldo has signed a contract with the Serie A champions

The 33-year-old has already had his medical check in Germany

Former Juventus director Luciano Moggi claims Cristiano Ronaldo “already signed and had his medical in Munich” ahead of joining Juventus.

These statement strongly contradicts Moggi’s previous words on the subject:

“It makes me laugh,” he told Sportitalia. “Juve’s problem is not Ronaldo, it’s putting together the defence and the midfield.”

He also didn’t endorse the potential deal: “For me they would be wrong to get Cristiano with a €30 million salary.

Earlier today, Juventus current director Beppe Marotta refused to address the whispers: “Should Juventus fans dream about Ronaldo? I won’t say anything..” he said smiling.

Rumours linking Cristiano Ronaldo with Juventus appeared this week in Tuttosport and have been spread by many respected sports media. It is suggested that the Italians are ready to pay around €100m for the striker and offer him a €30m per year salary.

“It was nice to play for Real Madrid,” he said at the Kiev Olympic Stadium.

He sparked fire even during the Champions League winners parade in Madrid, where he had said in front of a huge crowd of fans: “See you next season.”

Portugal striker was reportedly leaving Spain at the end of June, appearing in front of the Portuguese newspaper “Record”, where he declared he was unhappy with the club.

He had said the same in 2012 when he stated in an interview after the match with Granada: “I’m upset and the club knows why.”

Juventus refused to comment when contacted by Reuters, while Real Madrid said: Our official comments are made through our official media channels

Real did not issue any statement about Ronaldo on their website, although they issued a statement that rejected some news that linked them with PSG stars Neymar and Kylian Mbappe .

The Spanish newspaper Marca wrote on Wednesday that Ronaldo is unhappy in Real because they are looking for his replacement and President Florentino Perez has wants Neymar, he also said to the Brazilian last year that he should come to Madrid if he wants to win the prestigious award, “The Golden Ball”.

Ronaldo scored two goals against Juventus in Real’s 4-1 win at the 2017 Champions League final, and earlier in the quarter-finals he scored a bicycle goal where Juventus fans applauded him.

He also scored a goal from the white spot in extra time in Madrid to send the Los Blancos in the semifinals.

Ronaldo made a good start in the World Cup, where he scored three goals against Spain and scored the winning goal against Morocco. But he missed a penalty against Iran, while Portugal was eliminated by Uruguay 2-1 at 1/8 of the final.
