Barca’s star suffer knee problem

Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal has suffered a fresh problem with his right knee whilst on international duty with Chile.

The 31-year-old suffered the discomfort during a training session in Sapporo whilst on international duty, ahead of Friday’s meeting against Japan.

Vidal has appeared as a substitute in each of Barca’s three La Liga matches to date but has suffered long-term problems with his right knee over the years.

This fresh setback does not appear to a serious injury but will not lead to further concern but he may now be set for a return to the Camp Nou so club doctors can evaluate the situation.
