Far from being seen as a negative move, Roures wants to accentuate the positives.
“They are negotiating to play a Champions League final in New York,” the founding partner of Mediapro said on Catalunya Radio‘s ‘El mati’ programme.
He also had words on the Girona-Barcelona fixture which is due to take place in Miami in January 2019.
“It’s very positive, especially for Girona who have just arrived in LaLiga Santander,” he continued.
“They will be talked out throughout the world of football, and it will help consolidate the competition.”
