Vinicius waits for his moment: Everything will come, you have to be calm

Castilla has been where Vinicius Junior has played most of his football this season and the Brazilian is staying patient as he awaits his chance to really break into the Real Madrid first team.

The youngster has been on international duty with Brazil’s Under-20 team, where he shone against Chile despite missing a penalty.

“Everything will come, we have to be calm and stay happy,” he said after his latest appearance for Brazil’s U-20 side.

“My family and I are happy that I have taken part in some games.

“There’s nothing better than making your debut at the Santiago Bernabeu against Real Madrid and I’m very happy in the group.”

Still young, Vinicius has time on his side and he spoke about what it’s like to play with Real Madrid at 18.

“It’s always good to be surrounded by the best and to be with them at Real Madrid is priceless,” he added.

“It’s a dream I’ve always had and now I’m living it.

“During this period with the national team I can talk with my Brazilian teammates and share stories.”
