Jose Mourinho has been left ‘very surprised’ following his sacking by Manchester United, according to Jamie Jackson.
The 20-time champions of England announced this morning that the club have parted company with Mourinho following a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool.
It is also understood that the Portuguese manager is ‘100 percent’ keen to remain in club management.

Defeat at Anfield on Sunday proved the final straw in Mourinho’s chapter at Manchester United.
The result leaves the Red Devils sat in 6th – 11 points off the top four.
Despite the club’s dismal run of form, it’s claimed that Mourinho has been left stunned by the decision.
The decision to sack the former Chelsea and Real Madrid coach follows United being drawn against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League Round of 16.
A caretaker manager is expected to be appointed in the next 48 hours who will instead take charge for the mouthwatering tie.
Mourinho keen to remain in club management
With Mourinho hoping to return to club management, the door has been opened to a potential return to the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Florentino Perez is keen to bring him back to Real Madrid.
Mourinho was the man who deiced to leave the Spanish capital and Perez is now open to bringing him back.
The Madrid president is willing to allow the Portuguese coach to oversee the rebuilding project at the Bernabeu.
