Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t make it onto Lionel Messi’s list of the five best players in world football right now.

Instead, the No.10 opted for Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Eden Hazard, Luis Suarez and Sergio Aguero.

He was asked during an interview with Radio 94.7, choosing three players he has played with at some point as well as Mbappe and Hazard.

While he didn’t select Ronaldo, he did have some praise for the No.7.

‘It was nice to have Ronaldo in LaLiga for the prestige it brought, although it annoyed me whenever he lifted titles.’

‘Today, there are very good players, Neymar, Mbappé, Suárez, Hazard, any of them could be the best in the world. But I took Cristiano of that group and put him alongside me.’ the player said during the interview.
