Paul Pogba has revealed the reason why he has changed his penalty taking run-up.
The Manchester United midfielder scored twice from the spot on Saturday evening as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side secured a vital victory over West Ham in the Premier League.
And speaking after the game the French international revealed the new run-up was adopted in order to ensure he was concentrating on the sole purpose of scoring.
“What matters is to put the ball inside that’s all I’ve learnt,” he told BT Sport.
“Maybe I tricked the keeper today! But all that is important is the three points today.
“I think we had the luck, you always have to take it, sometime it is for the other team but we took it today.”
