The striker could be recalled by parent club Chelsea at the end of the season, despite his reluctance.
AS says Chelsea may insist Morata return if their appeal against a two window transfer ban is rejected.
The Spain international joined Atletico in January on an 18 month loan and has rediscovered his goalscoring form.
