Jurgen Klopp sees Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster as the ideal replacement for Daniel Sturridge next season, according to reports.
Sturridge, who joined the Reds from Premier League rivals Chelsea in 2013, is set to end his stay at Anfield when his contract expires in the summer.
With Sturridge set to play his football elsewhere next season and not many big-name reinforcements expected to arrive at Anfield, The Times reports that the striker’s departure will open the door for Brewster to start featuring regularly in Klopp’s first-team.
Brewster displayed his talents as a natural finisher during the Under-17 World Cup in 2017, where he won the golden boot with eight goals as England went on to beat Spain in the final.
