Big clubs are not rival only on the pitch but also on the transfer market where every year becomes more interesting. For some time Chelsea and Manchester city are looking for quality defender. At the moment the only player that can be part of big clubs like this is the Italian Leonardo Bonucci who according to Italian media could leave Juventus at the end of the season.
While Antonio Conte was manager in Juventus he had perfect relation with Bonucci and he was the first one that told publicly that wants the player to play in Chelsea. Also Manchester City is struggling with the defensive line and Guardiola know the capacity of Italian defender and will approach to him this summer.
At this point, the race for Bonucci would join Real Madrid. They will need a defender after the contract with Pepe is ending this summer and Pepe has already made clear that he will consider offers from China. So, Bonucci will be the perfect addition for Real Madrid and will play alongside with either Ramos or Varane, but now that Varane will be 6 months out of the pitch because of the injury the first team place for Bonucci is 100% guaranteed.
At the moment Juventus hasn’t made any statement if they will accept offers for Bonucci, but if good offer come, knowing from the past Juventus will make perfect deal from it.
