Ex-Barcelona and Real Madrid midfielder, Georghi Hagi has become the latest former player to give his opinion on the Neymar saga.

And in an interview with Argentinean outlet Super Deportivo, Romanian legend Hagi said he is convinced that Madrid will go on two win their fourteenth Champions League title this season if they manage to land another Galáctico in Neymar.

“They can win easier, without a doubt. If they sign Neymar and with Hazard’s signing, they will win the Champions League again,” said the former Romania international.

“Then Zidane will have to find his place for each one, but that’s the best thing that can happen to a coach. You just have to motivate him”.

Hagi, who earned the nickname Maradona of the Carpathians in his playing days, believes that Neymar is a “top player, despite the fact that he is not very well at the moment”.

“There are times when he is good and sometimes not, like now when he is a little clueless, but it doesn’t matter,” he said. “The value of the player is the same. He is a player who would do well for any team in the world.”
