The Welshman still feels undervalued by Zidane and the board at the Bernabeu and wants to leave Madrid next summer, according to AS.

It seemed his desire to leave the club had been left behind. He has even been one of Madrid’s best players so far this campaign and even his relationship with Zidane had seemed to improve… until he was left in the stands for the Club Brugge came in the Champions League.

Bale got angry about being left out. He feels poorly treated by the coach and not backed by the board. He’s decided that he wants to leave next summer, according to AS.

Good games

Bale’s played well this season, in part, because he’s angry, as a response to the distance and coldness with which the manager has always treated him with.

Against him, he’s accused of liking golf more than football and it’s true that he doesn’t treat the profession with the same intensity as others, neither on nor off the pitch.

But he feels he’s offering good performances and deserves to be treated better. He just wants minutes to get to his best and score goals for Real Madrid, which is one of the team’s weaknesses.

Left in the stand

Being left out against Brugge was hard to understand and has proved the straw which broke the camel’s back. For the first time since he arrived in 2013, he really wants to leave.

His agent, Jonathan Barnett, is working on an exit. It’s the first time the player’s been clearly in favour of leaving, even though he was forced to accept he may have to go last summer.
