Juventus could try to sign Chelsea’s full-back Emerson in this winter transfer window, according to Calciomercato.
Bianconeri are reportedly interested in strengthening their left-back in January due to the long-term injury problems. Sarri also had to switch Matuidi to left-back after De Sciglio and Alex Sandro were both unavailable.
Juve are understood to be interested in Emerson, who was tried by Juve director Fabio Paratici in this summer and who was also a big fan of the player during Sarri’s time as Chelsea manager.
However, reports from Sky Italia’s reporter Fabrizio Romano suggest the Italia international has also been offered a new contract by Chelsea after his current contract expires in June 2022 and is currently under consideration.
