Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly been handed a £300m transfer kitty at Manchester United .
United are languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League after a poor start to the season, ahead of the visit of Liverpool .
Solskjaer has moved on several big earners during his short tenure while also bringing in young talent in the form of Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James.
The United boss has made no secret of his desire to add more and the club are already looking to tie up several big deals for next summer.
The Mail confirms United’s interest in James Maddison and Moussa Dembele, who have both been linked with the Red Devils in the past.
Neither player are likely to be available in January but United are ready to wait until next summer to sign the Lyon and Leicester attacking stars.
And Solskjaer is reportedly also monitoring Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez with the view to signing the Spaniard.
Manchester United had been keen on Saul during David Moyes tenure at Old Trafford, when the midfielder was just 19.
But he opted to remain with Atletico and is now regarded by many as one of the leading young midfielders in Europe.
Solskjaer is keen to bring in reinforcements into the middle of the park amid more speculation over the future of Paul Pogba.
Meanwhile, it has emerged United are keeping tabs on RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
Liverpool have been linked with the Germany international for some time but United are interested, although they again may have to wait until next summer.
