Ronaldo says age can’t stop him from shining in the field.
“What makes me sad? When people don’t say the truth, this hurts me,” Ronaldo said.
“But there aren’t many things that make me sad in football.
“I accept the football industry, I’ve spent 17 years in it, and I know it’s my job.”
The Portuguese forward has been nominated for the Ballon d’Or and could win the prestigious award for the sixth time in his career.
“Age is only a number, I’m more mature now,” he said.
“Being 33, 34 or 35 years old doesn’t mean it’s the end of my career. I can still make the difference on the pitch.”
