Juventus are reportedly plotting a huge offer for Kylian Mbappe as they search for a long-term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is not leaving however, at 34, there are no guarantees as to how long he will be able to produce his best football for.

Mbappe, on the other hand, is just 20 years old and a proven talent on the world stage having helped France to their first World Cup since 1998 last summer.

Real Madrid are believed to be very keen on the pacy forward, who currently plies his trade in Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-German.

But Tuttosport claim Juventus are looking at how much money would be needed for Mbappe, and whether it would be worth them making an offer to the French club.

It’s claimed that the transfer fee would need to be at least 180 million euros (£160m), however Mbappe’s overall wages cannot be less than 40 million euros (£34.5m) per season.

Should Mbappe sign a five year deal with the Old Lady, it means the deal would cost Juventus around £335m (€388m).

One doubt for Juventus is over the revenue that Mbappe would generate with Ronaldo reported already repaying his contract fee with plenty of commercial deals.
