Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic admits that the early months of this 2019/20 season haven’t been easy for him.

Still settling in Spain, Jovic finally got off the mark for Los Blancos in midweek against Leganes, after a troubled st art.

“It was a difficult period for me,” Jovic said.

“I never doubted my ability, nor did the people close to me like my teammates or coach.

“The crowed was very tough and it wasn’t pleasant to read those articles.

“I hope they start trusting me more.”

Aware that he still has a lot to do though, the Serbian is hoping to build on his first goal.

“It’s a start,” he said.

“I hope my goals in the future help Real to fulfil all their goals.”

Stepping away from his own personal form, the forward explained that there’s only one thing that really matters.

“I’m happy with the support [of the dressing room],” he explained.

“We’re all very close.

“We all only care about one thing: Real Madrid winning.”
