Inter to consider signing Barca star only on loan with option to buy

Inter have been clear that they are not interested in making a definitive purchase on Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal but may consider a potential loan deal with a buy option attached, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how Inter are still prioritising Udinese star midfielder Rodrigo De Paul for the upcoming January transfer window, but certain factors may make the deal incompletable for now.

These factors are the sale of Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa, who the Nerazzurri are hoping to earn at least €25 million from, as well as qualification to the next round of the Champions League.

Vidal would only be a temporary option, the report continues, as the Nerazzurri are already looking at other good investments to make in the squad next summer.

These include players like Atalanta owned midfielder Dejan Kulusevski, Italian starlets Sandro Tonali and Gaetano Castrovilli, as well as a new name.

The new name is 20-year-old Boubakary Soumaré from French side Lille, the report adds.

The player’s strong performances with both Lille and the French Under-21 squad are making him at popular option amongst the Nerazzurri’s management.
