Arsenal consider move for PSG defender who will be out of contract in summer

Arsenal have asked about Paris St Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa who is out of contract in the summer.

The 27-year-old could possibly leave in this window with Arsenal keen for defensive cover and Kieran Tierney out for another two months.

Arsenal ideally want to make two loan signings this window with midfield and defence key areas.

Arsenal also like Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimaraes from Atletico Paranaense but have competition from Benfica.

Tierney showed off his road to recovery on Instagram today, but he will still miss a lot of games for the club before he’s back to full fitness.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will be looking to bolster at the back, and they have also targeted Barcelona central defender Samuel Umtiti in recent times.

Jerome Boateng has also emerged as a potential transfer target, although any hopes of a deal were dashed when Bayern Munich said they would not be letting him go in January.

Arsenal will also be losing their lead doctor to Liverpool. Gary O’Driscoll is regarded as one of the top medical professionals in the league, but will be taking on Liverpool’s head of medical services role when Arsenal find a replacement for him.
