Arsenal are ready to make a move for Paris Saint-Germain left back Layvin Kurzawa once the transfer window reopens this summer, according to reports.

The Gunners were linked with the Frenchman in January but a move never materalised, with the Premier League side only completing moves for Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares.

Kurzawa has fallen behind Juan Bernat in the pecking order at the Parc des Princes and will unlikely extend his stay at the club having entered the final six months of his current deal.

Arsenal have been monitoring the player’s progress and would be willing to sign him as a free agent once the season ends, according to France Football.

The French magazine state Arsenal ‘aren’t letting go of the situation’ and are still ‘actively following’ Kurzawa as their mini-injury crisis at left back continues.

Mikel Arteta is currently without Kieran Tierney and Sead Kolasinac due to injury, with the Gunners boss resorting to using Bukayo Saka in the position in recent weeks.

While Saka has impressed, Arteta is keen to strengthen in that area which could spell the end of Kolasinac’s time at the Emirates.

Kurzawa has made 119 appearances for PSG since arriving from Monaco in 2015, scoring 13 goals.
