Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz received offers from big clubs, said his agent, and they are believed to be Real Madrid and Manchester City.
“It’s obvious that there are many important clubs that have asked about him, he has spent three years at a high level,” representative Alvaro Torres told Canal Sur Radio.
“Yes, it’s true that Real has shown interest, we told Napoli.”
According to the Corriere dello Sport newspaper, the other major side in the running is Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
Barcelona are a little further behind, as they are focusing more on renewing their attacking options with Inter striker Lautaro Martinez.
Fabian Ruiz is still only 24 years old, but received six senior caps for Spain after his move to Napoli from Real Betis in the summer of 2018.
He was signed for €30m, but his price-tag has comfortably doubled, if not tripled.
