Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly becoming increasingly concerned by Manchester United’s transfer strategy, with the Red Devils off to a slow start in the market.
Man United finished sixth in last season’s Premier League table, meaning that they will compete in the Europa League next term, with Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur claiming the top four spots.
Man City and Liverpool have boosted their squads with the signings of Erling Braut Haaland and Darwin Nunez respectively, while Tottenham have added Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster.
Man United continue to be linked with a number of players, but the club are yet to make a first-team signing, with deals for Frenkie de Jong, Christian Eriksen and Antony up in the air.
According to AS, Ronaldo is becoming concerned that his side’s rivals are pulling further clear ahead of the start of the 2022-23 campaign.
The report claims that the Portugal international is ‘worried’ that the 20-time English champions have not been able to boost their squad following a disappointing 2021-22 season.
