Manchester City striker will join the London side

The Brazilian is part of a trio of Manchester City players linked with a switch to the Emirates this summer. Oleksandr Zinchenko is also looking for more game time while Raheem Sterling could also be on his way out of the Etihad.

Jesus has been tipped to reunite with former City No.2 Mikel Arteta for a number of months now. Erling Haaland’s arrival alongside the January signing of Julian Alvarez may limit his opportunities next season.

And recent reports have claimed the Gunners’ interest has intensified. Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere believes signing Jesus would be a “10 out of 10” deal for his former club.

“I think he would be a top, top signing. He’s a top striker and he’s obviously played in a top team for many years now,” he told talkSPORT.

“He knows the Premier League so he’s someone who could come in and fit in straight away. With Arsenal’s creative players, he would score a lot of goals – 10 out of 10.”

Meanwhile, he added that Zinchenko would also be a solid signing, though he questioned whether Arsenal actually need him. He added: “He’s someone I really like.

“Mikel Arteta obviously worked with him at Man City so if Arsenal want him, there’s a reason. Arsenal are pretty strong in that area with Kieran Tierney so I wouldn’t say we really, really need him.

“But we’ve seen Zinchenko play in midfield for Ukraine so he can adapt to different positions and he’s versatile.” Sterling is being hotly tipped for a move to Chelsea with Real Madrid and Barcelona also keeping tabs on the winger.

Arsenal were initially linked but these rumours have cooled in recent weeks. Nevertheless, Wilshere said he would be “an unbelievable signing” for the Gunners if they can somehow pull off a deal.
