The president of the World Football Federation (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, threatened Qatar that could be left without the World Cup if did not show hospitality to all the fans.

Infantino primarily referred to the LGBT population whose members fear for their safety at the World Cup, as well as the very strict laws when it comes to alcohol and sex.

“If Qatar does not want to show hospitality to all the fans, it will not be the organizer of the World Cup. “The World Cup is an event that brings together all people,” said Infantino, who went on to address the issue of racism.

“In the last few big matches, more than 50% of the players have been racially abused. It is much worse now when it comes to discrimination. “We will continue to fight racism and discrimination.”
