Last hit by Guardiola will cost City €70M

Erling Haaland may not be the only hit of the summer market for Manchester City. Pep Guardiola, in fact, seems to have targeted another star.

According to CNN Portugal, the desire of the coach of the English champions for the summer market seems to be Joao Felix of Atletico Madrid, who is considered the missing part of the Citizens.

However, the possible transfer of the Portuguese to the Premier League seems to be linked to two important departures at City’s home, that of Raheem Sterling and that of Gabriel Jesus, due to budget and financial fair play.

Joao Felix was transferred in 2019 from Benfica to Atletico Madrid for a frightening figure of 127 million euros. A figure that seems to have weighed on the new player.

In fact, the 22-year-old’s performances with Colchonero have not been very good and this is evidenced by the decline in his value in the market. The fantasy, in fact, is now worth 70 million euros.

A very low figure compared to the 127 million spent by the Spaniards in 2019, but again a very significant one.
