Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is not only the best player in the world for 2016 but also the highest-paid player.

For one year he earns 87.5 million euros, or 11 million euros more than his rival Leo Messi, or 1,256 euros more per hour.

In third place was Neymar with 55.5 million euros, while the top five are Gareth Bale 41 million and Ezequiel Lavezzi with 28.5 million euros.
